Chef Deron Day is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the field of culinary management and health and wellness. Deron is very passionate about the transformative power of a plant-based lifestyle. He has personally experienced this transformation and is on a mission to help as many as possible experience it as well. Deron lives by the quote “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food,” a phrase attributed to Hippocrates, the Greek physician.

Deron is an Air Force veteran with over 20 years of service where his culinary career began. Deron studied culinary management at the Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham and has a diploma in Plant-Based Culinary from Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. He also holds the Certificate of Plant-Based Nutrition from The Center for Nutrition Studies. When he’s not in the kitchen playing with plants, Deron loves playing basketball and spending quality time with his wife and son.
