Angela Crawford, Ph.D. is passionate about empowering people toward plant-powered living for greater physical and emotional well-being. She adopted a vegetarian lifestyle in 2007 (vegan in 2019), for ethical reasons, and over time also discovered the health benefits of plant-based living. She went from having unhealthy eating habits, and rarely cooking, to becoming passionate about sharing delicious and healthy veg meals with family and friends.
Angela is a licensed Food for Life Instructor and a Vegan Lifestyle Educator, offering classes and resources that empower people to transition to and thrive with a plant-powered lifestyle. Her areas of expertise include overcoming barriers to healthy lifestyle change, thriving emotionally, and mind-body-spirit wellness.
She holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and previously worked as a psychotherapist for 25 years. She recently researched and wrote The Vegan Transformation: A Journey to Heal Yourself and the World (Lantern, 2025).
