Diets High in Plant Protein Reduce Risk of Kidney Disease

Eating plant protein supports kidney health, according to findings from the UK Biobank Study. This large study followed over 100,000 people for nearly 10 years and found that eating more plant protein reduced the risk of developing chronic kidney disease.1 Previous research has shown that plant-based diets are beneficial for people with chronic kidney disease.2
