Eczema Risk May Be Related to Maternal Diet During Pregnancy
Atopic dermatitis, also called eczema, is an inflammatory skin disease that can happen at any age but is more common in children. A new study looked at the diets of thousands of mother-child pairs and found that among those eating a vegetarian or vegan diet, their children were significantly less likely to develop atopic dermatitis within their first 18 months.
