Plant-Based Diets Are Beneficial for Reducing Insomnia
A plant-based diet can reduce the risk of insomnia, according to a new study. Researchers followed nearly 6,000 participants for around 10 years and found that compared to nonvegetarians, vegetarians had around one-third fewer instances of insomnia.1 Another study has found that diets highest in whole grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and legumes improve sleep quality.2
