The Cost of Eggs May Include a Higher Heart Attack Risk

Eating cholesterol, which is exclusively found in animal products like eggs, may raise your risk of a heart attack. Researchers analyzed tens of thousands of diet and health records and found that for every 100 milligrams of cholesterol a person ate each day (about 1/2 of a large egg), their risk of a myocardial infarction increased by 5%.
