Trans Fats Linked to Poor Memory

As young adults increase their intake of trans fat, memory worsens, according to a study presented at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions. Researchers from the University of California analyzed the diets and memory of 694 20- to 45-year-old men and found that as trans fat intake increased, word recall decreased. Findings were later replicated in women.
