Class Dates
In honor of Black History Month, this class guides participants to make the critical connection between diet and the risk of developing various forms of cancer. With a focus on low-fat plant-based nutrition, participants develop an understanding of specific foods and nutrients that either promote or discourage cancer development. This class features a cooking demonstration of delicious, health-promoting dishes, along with handouts of easy and affordable recipes participants can prepare at home. We invite all members of the Solivita community, and encourage you to bring a friend/neighbor.

Class Format
This two-hour class features a video, a discussion, and the opportunity to taste plant-based dishes following a cooking demonstration. It is designed to be a stand-alone class and provides an excellent overview of plant-based foods for brain health. The basic class format summary is as follows:
